In addition, the book offers insights into how two people's perception of a situation and one another can be so similar yet different and sometimes faulty. Overall, though, I think this was an interesting portrait of modern relationships. Perhaps because I knew how it all would turn out, I felt like I finished the book more out of obligation than actual excitement.
